Programmes

The World Population Foundation intends to increase the quality of the life in developing countries by improving sexual and reproductive health and rights. WPF’s major objective is to work with local partners for the implementation of the Programme of Action that was adopted at the International UN Conference on Population and Development in Cairo (1994) and contribute towards realization of Millennium Development Goals (MDG) targets set by Pakistan. The WPF, Pakistan country strategy (2007-11) has a focus on Youth particularly women. WPF advocate for the empowerment of underserved groups in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights. WPF believes in sharing resources with local partners and government for improving SRHR indicators in Pakistan and build capacity of local partners in all four provinces of Pakistan to effectively implement programmes for advocate for SRH rights and services.
