LSBE Convocation Multan was held on December 18, 2008 at Multan Arts Council in collaboration with AWAZ Foundation. Dr. Prof. Karamat Ali former Vice Chancellor, B.Z. University graced the occasion as the chief guest of the programme.

Mr. Qadeer Baig, Country Representative, WPF welcoming the audience, congratulated the Awaz Foundation and students/teachers on successful completi on of the LSBE programme. He stressed that LSBE Convocation is not the end of the LSBE Programme rather it is the beginning of the advocacy phase where the support of schools, teachers and students is needed to ensure LSBE inclusion in the National Curriculum.

Mr. Zia, CEO Awaz Foundation appreciated the efforts of teachers and cooperation of District Government in promoting LSBE in Multan. Students from various schools presented skits to convey the learning of LSBE while teachers shared the importance and need of LSBE expansion in all high schools. The celebration was attended by more than 500 students and teachers.
