Established in 1999, PVDP works for the “Promotion of building a just civil society by harnessing the creative energies of poor and underprivileged”. This aim is achieved with the close collaboration of partner communities and development organizations through a participatory, demand responsive, gender and poverty sensitive integrated development approach in the North-West Frontier Province. PVDP interventions mainly focus on achievements in domains/programme areas including, Human & Institutional Development, Education, Primary/Reproductive Health Care, Human Rights and Water Environment and Sanitation (WES).

Established in 1995, AwazCDS works for “Securing the future of marginalized communities” in Pakistan. AwazCDS focuses upon achieving the Millennium Development Goals of halving poverty and reducing hunger; promoting gender equality and health related knowledge; education and empowerment of women; increasing environmental sustainability and building a global partnership for development.

AwazCDS has been a leading member of Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP) coalition in Pakistan. AwazCDS is exempt from Tax under Section 2(36) by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad- Pakistan.

Aahung

Established in 1994, Aahung has emerged from a Karachi-based community project to a leading authority in the field of sexual health and rights in Pakistan. Functioning in an environment devoid of expertise or resources, Aahung has been successful in developing culturally relevant strategies to respond to the sexual health needs of the Pakistani population. Moreover, Aahung has had success in bringing attention to sexual health issues and concerns in medical and educational institutions across Pakistan.

Established in 1999, PIDS aims to reduce the mother and child mortality and morbidity rate through preventive health care measures. It strives to improve the health conditions of community with particular emphasis on women and children.

Peace Education and Development Foundation-PEAD

Partner in Mardan and Nowshehra – NWFP

Since 2009

Established in 2002, PEAD aims to advance the cause of peace, non-violence, tolerance, respect and appreciation of human rights as well as promoting democracy and development. Since its inception, PEAD has remained engaged in social actions to inch towards a better, peaceable and pluralistic society by working with youth, various socio-political and economic groups, communities, media etc in all provincial units of Pakistan & Azad Kashmir.

PEAD essentially develops and implements programmes for all segments of the Pakistani society with a view to empower them with knowledge and skills to positively influence their attitudes and behaviours.
