Objective

A small scale research study project to assess the extent of sexual violence in intellectually disabled children. The activities include

• A small scale research study
• IEC material production
• Formation of a sensitized and trained support group

• Staff and volunteers of partner organization KVC- Kiran Vocational Centre
• Parents and family members of intellectually disabled children
• Social workers, nurses and doctors

Achievements

• A sensitized group of volunteers working on CSA with Institutes and organizations working with intellectually disabled children and their parents
• Research study on the extent of sexual violence in the group
