 Ali Zafar also known as the “Prince of Pop” in Pakistan is famous both nationally and internationally for his looks, talent, and numerous hit songs. Ali also proved his mettle by acing the matriculations examinations at his school. His innate fondness for art later made him a graduate from the National College of Arts as a painter in 2002 with honors. It was this inclination, which ended to be a strong driving force for his entrance into the showbiz. Before making his breakthrough into the musical scene of Pakistan, Ali Zafar worked as a model for several commercial advertisements and also acted on television. Ali has been to 11 different countries worldwide and has performed at more than almost 200 shows in front of thousands of fans from all over the globe. In so little time and such young age, Ali has released two albums, “Huqa Pani” and “Masty” to his credit and has won the hearts of millions with his multi faceted personality and the magical voice. The worldwide release of his album “Huqa Pani” and release of his album “Masty” in India gained immense international fan following.
The year 2007 proved to be of enormous value for Ali, as he not only won the “Youth Icon” award from the Lux Style Awards 2007, in Malaysia, but also completed one of the most successful tours in the life of any Pakistani artist to U.S and Canada.
Despite enjoying both national and international fame, Ali Zafar has always been using his celebrity influence to advocate for youth issues in Pakistan and to motivate the young generation to take up outstanding roles in bringing to life their spirits. He has done so by singing motivational songs and conducting concerts with the agenda of national welfare. He has recently released a song on youth of Pakistan that has deep insight into the youth of Pakistan and has made him even more popular among the young lot.
