Awareness raising session on "Youth Situation in relation to SRHR in Pakistan"

Youth Advocacy Network (YAN), is an independent representative body of Pakistani youth united for advocating for the needs of young people and facilitates the process for addressing their needs by meaningful youth participation. YAN aims to improve the quality of life of young people, by campaigning for the protection and promotion of their universal and inalienable rights including sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) through advocacy; to reduce potential risks for youth by behavioral interventions; and to organize young people into groups, building their capacity so that they can play their role as agents of change in their communities.

For that reason YAN Islamabad chapter organized an awareness raising session on "Youth Situation in relation to SRHR in Pakistan" on 13th June 2009 at World Population Foundation (WPF) office.
