Organizational Capacity Assessment of implementing partners

For capacity assessment of partner NGOs of WPF, IS programme developed an Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) Tool focusing on GBV-RH.

To identify the gaps and weaknesses of the partner organizations of GBV-RH project, an intensive participatory Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) exercise was carried out with board members, senior management and community representatives of each partner NGO. Before the OCA exercise, a short pre-OCA exercise was also performed in order to gauge the knowledge of participants on GBV-RH.

Organizational Capacity Assessment helped to identify the areas for future interventions in the coming 6 to 8 months in the form of technical assistance by WPF. Initial findings of OCA were shared with the board members and senior management of the partner organizations. Detailed findings and future line of action will be shared with them in 2 weeks.
